Proceedings got a healthy start with Lewis qualifying on Pole on the Saturday and then finishing the afternoon off with his first victory of the weekend.
Come Sunday morning the weather hadn’t got any better, Lewis talks us through the day “Sunday never really went to plan. In race one I managed to win, but then in race two I had brake fade and ran straight on into the gravel. I got back on track and managed to get up to fourth by the chequered flag. In the last race I got my brakes fixed and had an amazing battle with Paul and learnt loads, but just needed that wee bit of extra grip coming out the corners”
Lewis also competed in the KMSC Superstock 600 races taking two wins and a second place.
The third round of the Scottish championship will once again be held at Knockhill June 6th-7th.
