Three is the Magic Number
The Superstock 600 championship was up for grabs in both championships over the weekend at East Fortune
Despite the sombre feeling in the air from the passing of fellow Shirlaws team mate Andy Lawson during an incident at the Ulster GP. The whole paddock showed a fantastic display of community, lining up on the Start finish straight to pay respect with a moment of silence.
Once the engines had been started it was back to business and Lewis didn’t hold back.
“We had a brilliant weekend” said Lewis “starting with pole position and then going on to win all 4 races, securing both the Melville and the Scottish National Superstock 600 championships. I also became the youngest ever Scottish champion breaking another record, which was amazing. However I still didn’t get into the 59s, which is my goal for the remainder of the season. I will just have to try at the last round. I would like to say a huge thanks to all my sponsors who have helped make this season possible and to everyone who came along at the weekend to watch me and to pay tribute with the one minute silence for Andy Lawson”
Lewis’ sponsor Braw Beard Oils, are celebrating his third championship win this season by offering a 25% discount on all T-Shirts (while stocks last) and slashed prices on selected products. Head to www.brawbeardoils.com.
