Rollo Battles at Brands
After a disappointing sixth round at Snetterton, where another rider collided with Lewis taking them both out early in the race. The young Scot had been eager to climb aboard his Kawasaki ZX10rr and get back to work.
With mixed weather through the whole of the weekend, Lewis found it hard to find pace early on. However, after qualifying the teenager used the two part, 100 mile race to find pace and bolster the MSS Colchester Kawasaki team up the grid for race
“I struggled in Saturday’s morning qualifying” Said Lewis “But, what a race in the afternoon. Started 26th in the 100 mile race and got up to 14th. I was in a battle for 8th and moving forward, but, the race unfortunately got stopped! I destroyed my lap time from qualifying and moved up on the grid for Race two on Sunday. However, this race never went as well. I started 16th, and finished 16th, we made changes for the race, but, unfortunately they never worked. However, these things happen and I’d like to give a big thanks to MSS Performance Ltd. for not giving up on me. I’d also like to thank all my sponsors who make this possible MSS Performance, Colchester Kawasaki, Braw Beard Oils, Prentice Coaches, McIntosh Mini Bikes, Vroom Media, Santa Cruz Kustom Club, Belhaven Bikes, Rollo Developments, Robert Burns Limited, DINOS, Castle video productions, Norman Brunton Race Paints, YRF Motorsports and Gifford Joinery, thank you for coming out to support me, next up Thruxton”.
